Our chance to help the children of Jamaica was just magic. Bringing school supplies and being able to buy things the school needed was a pleasure that was all ours. Seeing the smiles on the children and receiving the love that was so honest from them gave us memories we will never forget.
The children are Jamaica's furture. These children are smart, bright and full of wonder. I would say Jamaica's furture is looking good. Thanks to Happy Hearts for letting us help.

Maybe it was our second trip. We were so excited and into everything. Brenda had made our togas, and I got to say they looked good. I would have worn mine anywhere but probably would have gotten arrested in most places. We were decked out on this Thursday night, Brenda was a knock out. Her outfit was complete with a head piece, jewelry, and lace up sandles. We stopped by to pick up our dear friends Bob and Mary on the way to the dining room. Mary was adorable as usual. Bob had not mastered the art of toga tieing. Bob had not mastered the art of a knot. Bobs toga only fell off three times on the way to the dining room. The evening wore on and so did Bobs toga. We lost count on how many times it fell off. The new and creative ways Bob retied it each time was more than amazing. We laughed until we just couldn't stand it anymore. Each trip through the buffet was a different event with the toga that was alive. Each time Bob came back to the table the toga was arranged different. We spilled drinks, we pounded on the table, we dropped plates, we laughed until we cried.
We left dinner headed toward the hot tub with Bob draging the sheet behind him, he had given up. When I think of this night I still laugh. Thanks Bob.

There is something about a group of friends sitting togeather on the nude beach. One tells a story that turns into the funiest story you've ever heard. Laughs, knee slapping laughs emerge from the group. The stories continue through the day and then the sun is setting where did this most perfect day go, and the next day brings the same the days repeat themselfs. The little group of friends become familly that share there feelings and love. Soon way too soon the vacation is over and you and your soulmate for twenty five years have to pack. You avoid the beach as you sneak up to the bus so you won't have to say good bye. But you soon discover all your familly are up front to see you off. Sad, kinda yes, but you get on the bus pass moon hill then you look in her eyes and that big smile pops up on her face as she proclaims.."We are going to stay 3 weeks next year." I kick back in the seat close my eyes and think about how much I love this woman.

Each trip as we approached the runway, landing at Mobay we would hold hands and as the wheels touched the ground we would both feel all of our problems and stress just float away. Smiles filled our faces. We became younger. For the next week or so our lives just became..no problem mon.

A long time ago and far far away I found an ad in a magazine about a place call Hedoninsm II. I showed it to my wife and after some discussion I finally talked her into going. The flight was long and we had several lay overs. We almost missed our flight in Miami. The custom lines were two miles long at Mobay. This was way before they updated the airport and way before the new road to Negril. The bus ride form hell was just that. We stopped in the middle of Mobay for gas. My wife was getting very un-easy. The rains came, a major storm and our driver kept opening his window and sticking his head out. One pasanger ask what he was doing, he replyed "Trying to stay awake mon." We hit every pot hole from Mobay to Negril. My wife gave me the look. The rain came down harder and we were barely missing cars on the other side of the road. My wife informed me that if we ever did make it to Negril she was going to kill me or worse.
We made it finally some 31/2 hours later. Everyone cheered when we pulled in to Hedonism II.
We begain the check in process and was greeted by Wayne Wallace, who became a friend forever. My wife started to feel at ease. We made it to our room. We stayed on the nude side ocean view. I opened the curtains and there stood a hundred naked people. My wife said she would never go out there. We finally made our way to Delroy's had our-selfs a purple rain. Ten minutes at Delroy's and my wife said she was never putting cloths on again. One hour on the nude beach she said she was never leaving or at least I would have to promise her we would come back next year. That was 28 trips ago and we do call the place home.

Ok this is an attempt to start a blog about Hedonism II. A blog about all the friends and fun that is shared there. So feel free to join in and reflect on the trips you have made to Hedo, post pictures and let the world know what you did at Hedo...if you dare.
